About Us
The Print and Design Network came about as part of one of the objectives for the Four Greens Strategy & Action Plan document for the Creative & Cultural Industries, which sets out to support the creative sector in North London.
Creative London North was then set up through it’s partners Enfield Arts Partnership, Pre-Vista and Collage to lead on the Four Greens strategy to establish a robust and sustainable business support network creating a business led & engaged networks across the sub-sectors. Enfield Arts Partnership’s role was to develop the Print and Design sector, as well as the Jewellery sector in North London.
Enfield Arts Partnership then contracted Linx Associates to deliver this work on the ground. In the 2nd half of 2005 and the 1st of 2006, Linx Associates engaged with over 100 businesses in North London offering Print, Design or Web services to ascertain their needs.
A steering group was then set up, chaired by the MD of a leading local company, Peter Rosen of Bovince Ltd to ensure that the Network was business led. From both the needs analysis’ conducted and the steering group we embarked on a series of events and this site to help aid the strength and growth of the Print and Design Industry.
In November 2006 the Print and Design Network was then set up as a Community Interest Company.
